EOS Software, the leading provider in integrated IT portfolio management solutions, today announced that Gartner, Inc., a leading IT research and advisory firm, has positioned EOS Software as a Visionary in its November 18, 2014 Magic Quadrant for Integrated IT Portfolio Analysis Applications report. For the 2nd straight year, EOS Software placed the furthest in “Completeness of Vision” amongst all the vendors evaluated in this report. Gartner analysts wrote, in the Market Definition/Description section of the Magic Quadrant for Integrated IT Portfolio Analysis Applications report, that, “Integrated IT portfolio analysis (IIPA) bridges the gap between the formulation of IT strategies and the actual management of the physical changes made to the IT footprint in response to these strategies”.
EOS Software enables CIOs to become CEOs of IT by enabling multi-asset, cross-portfolio views from cost, risk and value perspectives. CIOs can then leverage these views to guide several critical needs such as cost reduction, business integration, risk and compliance management, business technology alignment, application portfolio rationalization, end state architecture transformation, digitization of their IT strategy and IT governance.
Gartner in commenting on the increased awareness in the industry to integrate portfolio silos, also wrote in the report that, “Gartner is seeing a significant number of inquiries confirming that today’s IT departments are moving quickly to better understand the multiple facets that make up the overall IT portfolio. Recent Gartner inquiry points to a marked increase in application rationalization and portfolio management maturity in IT, leading to more active integration of the application portfolio with the IT project and other IT portfolios.”
“In the last 12 months, Enterprises of all sizes have been coming to us with their need to provide fact based guidance to plan, track and direct their IT changes. They aspire to rapidly enable cross-functional guidance spanning their respective IT portfolio silos without having to constantly customize, re-configure or impact their existing asset classes.” said Mohit Doshi, CEO, EOS Software.
EOS Software’s Mohit added, “Our solution is purpose built for rapid, configuration driven, incremental enablement of Integrated IT Portfolio Management by providing a rich assembly of portfolio management functions on a robust information foundation. With both SaaS and On-Premise offerings accessible via mobile devices and all modern browsers on a robust security foundation, we believe we have one of the most innovative, flexible and visionary solution catering to all segments of the industry thanks to the constant feedback, guidance and support of our clients over the years.”
